Option 2 Class: Advanced Podcasting and GarageBand (Boardroom B)

5:40-6:15 Sharing Session (Boardroom A)
  • Tall Tales - write, record
  • Egypt Raps - use key vocabulary words to create a poem to record as a rap - could add pictures too
  • Readers' Theater - record a pre-written script so they can listen to it later
  • Record voices ahead of time - later students act out what they recorded with puppets
  • Oral Presentations - County Reports, State Reports, Country Reports, etc.
  • Record teacher explaining certain topics to use as a review for testing
  • Record singing
  • Travel brochures in podcast form
  • Can do the same type of thing with the AverVision Document Camera - can also record the visuals that are under the camera
  • Reading fluency
  • Student News Broadcast
